Corporate + Community Challenge

Live Thrive Corporate + Community Challenge
Since 2021, the Live Thrive Corporate Challenge has empowered companies to take real action toward sustainability—collecting more than 724,000 pounds of materials in just five years. Now, we’re expanding the program to include community groups and extending the timeframe to a six-month challenge!
Challenge Dates:
November 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027, timed around America Recycles Day – Nov. 15 and Earth Day – April 22
How It Works for Companies:
- Employees drop off materials at CHaRM (Atlanta or DeKalb) by appointment during the challenge period.
- Materials are weighed and logged, crediting their company’s total.
- Live Thrive can host Lunch + Learns or tabling events (in person or virtual) for your staff.
- After the challenge, all participants are recognized, and total diversion weight is shared on Live Thrive’s website, blog, and social media.
- Companies will be featured in marketing, PR, and social media throughout the campaign.
- Participants are invited to a celebration + networking event, where top companies will be recognized.
- Cost Requirements
- Participation fee due at program enrollment
- Weight processing fee due at program conclusion
How It Works for Community Groups:
- Groups coordinate with Live Thrive to host an onsite pop-up recycling event.
- Materials are weighed and logged, crediting the group’s total.
- After the event, group totals are announced and shared via Live Thrive channels.
- Participating groups will be recognized in marketing, publicity, and social media.
- Additional opportunities for CHaRM drop-offs for smaller community groups.
- Groups will also be invited to the challenge celebration + networking event, where winners are recognized.
