Live Thrive Atlanta, a 501(c)3 nonprofit promotes and assists efforts to create healthy and sustainable environments. Live Thrive Atlanta offers assistance to those seeking to improve their community and further environmental education initiatives.

Our goal is to give you access to exciting, innovative information that inspires all of us to Live and Thrive Atlanta in a healthy environment. From local hazardous household waste collection events to environmental education, we can assist you both with small projects with mighty ideas as well as mighty projects with enormous impact.  Visit our initiatives page to learn more about the projects and events that we are working on today!

Founded in 2010, Live Thrive Atlanta began as a blog on LivingGreenPages that discussed local environmental initiatives that inspired us to Live and Thrive in a healthy, environmentally responsible way. Our goal was to raise awareness about the individuals, governmental programs, large corporations, and neighborhood organizations that were making positive steps toward a healthier planet.

Inspired by the innovation and necessity of these stories, we realized that the best way to celebrate and support our community is to actively engage our resources to provide events and education that help promote a healthy environment.  Live Thrive Atlanta expanded from blog to 501c3 non-profit organization in December 2010. We hope that you will be inspired by our initiatives and engage with our journey to improve our community.

From city-wide hazardous household waste and paint collection events to engaging our local schools with environmental education awareness, Live Thrive Atlanta has organized and contributed to the success of numerous Metro-Atlanta based environmental initiatives since 2010. Live Thrive Atlanta Atlan received the Atlanta Business Chronicles Ennovaton Environmental Award in April of 2012 and the Fulton County Citizens Commission Environmental Award for enhancing and protecting the environment in May of 2012.
